[Woodcarver] Floyd's Dragon

Sorry,
Didn't 'splain myself very well.  Mine is from a sitting dragon of Floyd's
that I bought from him the 2nd year we taught at the NEWR together.  He also
had one lying down.  The style of the one I carved is very similar to the
shelf sitter he has in the recent WCI.  The shelf sitter is lying on its
stomach and has its claws and head dangled over the edge of the shelf.  Its
wings are relief carved against its body for strength and easier carving I
would guess.
I haven't put my finger on them yet, but there are small differences in this
one that I like better than the others (and the others are worth carving
still).  Bottom line... If you're a dragon lover you're gonna wanna copy of
this issue, fer sure.

Thanks, Mike, I get the idea. That is a very cute dragon- and a good idea to
put it on books, but that makes it not a shelf sitter. Does Floyd's have an
extended tail or how does it sit on a shelf?
