Yeah, and if I had an RV and was finished with the 8 to 5 "thang", Yvonne
and I would make ALL the carving gigs like you two, and the decorative
painting shindigs too.

 

Besides, that's a low blow. The North East Retreat is only 5 hours away from
my section of NY and is on Columbus Day Weekend.  Even if I could make the
GOW, Sandy Holder has first claim on me in Michigan since she invited me to
the Woodcarvers Roundup way back and I owe her for the fine hammer dulcimer
music that's on my DVD. And then I already get Heck from a certain Ohio
woodcarver 'cause I buzz down route 90 too fast on my way to the Artistry in
Wood.  Ah, it's tough being in such demand (eyes rolled Heaven-ward and a
"yeah right" grin on my face).

 

Your right though, someday I need to make a pilgrimage out that way, catch
the Swedish-American Museum and other things Scandinavian. teach Doug Evans
how to carve <G>.etc.

 

FYI, I already got the good word about you an Ol' Don being there. how to
you think Tony pitched the invite to me?  Look forward to seeing you there.
You haven't been to the NEWR in a long while. you owe me HUGS.

Just read that you will be teaching at the Retreat this October. Don is
going to be heading up the special project so we will see you there.  By the
