Hi Pat, 

Tell me what brand is your lathe and I might be able to help you out. I turn and own a few lathes so there are lots of websites just like the carving ones. Just have to know what the brand is and size or if you know your thread count.

 now  to get to carving. and i am still working on learning my lathe. 
still have not found a face plate and chuck fo rit. i want to learn to make plates to chip carve. 

 and bowls. to be truthful i need a bigger garage.  too many tools. too many ideas
