Hey Sandie,

Thanks for the input. I'll check with that convention center.

Don't let ol' Don get too close to any of those wild animals up there.

Enjoy yourselves immensely!

Subject: [Woodcarver] chips on the rug

Hi from beautiful downtown Anchorage,

Don and I were also at the event in Kerrville. Everyone was so worried about the
carpet but the hotel manager said not to worry - that it would vacuum up without
a problem.

Larry, perhaps you can contact Bill Bang of the Texas Woodcarvers Guild and/or
the Inn of the Hills Convention Center in Kerrville, Texas. Perhaps the Center
could talk to your Center and convince them that clean up was not a problem.
Nothing like the word of one manager to another to help ease the situation.Again
plastic was put down under the bark carvers and under the sharpening class. But
you would need much less plastic that way.

If I'm out of touch, Donna can probably give you the contact info.

Sandie - who is just beginning one of the best vacation trips in the world.
Alaska is gorgeous.
