Good morning, Gene.

I have tried this on it and it works faily well in some spots but I'm getting high with the fumes from the amount I have to use - LOL!

Thanks for your help

Merrilee

Yep.....50-50 with alcohol and water. spray on and let sit for a tiny bit and carve away. Works great......

Good Afternoon all!
I am in need of your great knowledge concerning wood. I am carving a welcome sign on basswood that has wormholes in it (I like the look :) so that's not the problem) but it is terribly dry and crumbly. Is there any way to rejuvenate it so it's easier to carve or am I doomed to pick it until it falls apart? Thank you all in advance for your great words of wisdom!
Merrilee
