Jan- I have the book "Small Woodworking Projects", the Best of Fine Woodworking, 1992 Taunton Press.that has 13 pages on how to design the works, and then an article on how to do it. Half.com has it for $14.10, or I could scan and send the pages to you if you want, no problem. It is pretty good.
