But I am sure BD must have a copy of it in HIS files and maybe just maybe HE can
send it to the list
Sorry Jan, but I don't have a copy. I heard him tell of his candle trick one
time but never got anything in writing.

What repicy do YOU have to harden (or unharden) steel Joe ??
Woodbutcher Jan

Hi Jan,
Steel that can be harden must be high in carbon. One can burn carbon out of
steel by overheating so care must be taken while grinding.

I have a repisy here from Harold Enlow
He showed me how to harden and or soften steel just with a candle VERY simple
(As it had to be to teach M E )
Wish I knew how to bring it from my copier to the puter and I could send it to
you all nimcomputes like me
But I am sure BD must have a copy of it in HIS files and maybe just maybe HE can
send it to the list
