[Woodcarver] making knives

Now thats what I call action on the list.
I think I counted 101today.

As for making knives I like Jaques used hacksaw blades and found them good
but now I use old jigsaw blades They are a perfect size and the steel is
exceptional.
I glue them between two pieces of wood with an epoxy glue then carfully
grind to the shape I want .
They take and hold a terrific edge even when I use them on our local hard
woods.

On the subject of spending earnings on tools, The bit I liked most when I
was earning my living from carving was that tools were tax deductable as a
result I bought all the tools I would ever need even some I don't.
