Wish I could have taken that class! I would love to participate in
something like that.
Aside from that, I'm practicing carving a mouth on about a 2" x 2" stick.
I'm getting there. This is in preparation for carving a face in relief.
I'm afraid I'm REALLY going to have to practice on eyes, though. Went to my
carving club this afternoon and started a love spoon for the first time. I'm
pretty slow, but I want to carve EVERYTHING! I'm sure your class would have
helped me a lot.
Sounds like you are extemely busy. Stay with it.

Working on Veterans' Canes and a Native American wood spirit in a piece of
250-year-old wood. And trying to get some inventory together for
galleries. So much to do, so little time :) I just finished teaching a
6-week adult ed course on Right Brain Drawing...with that over a little more
time is freed up for carving.
