Patti, you are a little early but there is a big carving event in Creede, CO. I have never been and don't see it happening anytime soon. But maybe you would enjoy visiting the town.

Hello Woodcarvers,

We are renting a home in the mountains north of Durango, Colorado for two weeks mid to end of June....anyone know anything going on in that area in that time frame? Anything to see or do that might be the frosting on my cake? Woodcarving for sure but anything interesting would be appreciated.
