Corey- you would find it a lot easier to carve the hummer than your figure carving. I haven't carved many figures, but I can appreciate how difficult it is compared to my birdies and small animals. Putting character in a human is more difficult than getting the lay of feathers or fur correct. Unless we anthopomorphize our animals they usually are lacking in character.

I'm not going near Iowa soon, but I will be in Massachusetts for the NEWA  in June and Minnesota for Carve-Fest in August. Then Kerrville, Texas in October for the TWG. No rest for the wicked- eh? Then again, they are available on my web site if our paths don't cross.
Glad you liked my little excerpts video. It took a lot of time to figure out how to do that- but I wanted to give people an idea of what they were getting before they bought it.
