[Woodcarver] kind of exciting!

Tonight ESPN2 will be televising the "Battle for the 
Palladium"...football game between rival Middle Tennessee and Troy 
State...at 8 PM ET.  The "Palladium" trophy, as some of you may 
remember, is a statue of Athena which I carved in 2004.  The trophy 
now has a second base which nearly doubles the height.  The last time 
this game was televised, 2 years ago I'm told, there were lots of 
shots of the trophy.  I am not really a football enthusiast, but I 
guess I'll be watching tonight.  Here's a pic of the trophy with the new base:

Note that the inset photo of the original carving was taken by Sports 
Illustrated from my web page without my knowledge. hmmmm bet if it 
was the other way around I'd be in deep trouble!
