  Larry Yudis here.

  I, too, just got back from the GOW (well ... not just back ... but a few days ago).  I had the priviledge of seeing your friend Jack Miller for the second time in the span of 2 months, the first time was at the Carvers Campout in Bremen, IN.

  I met Jack's lovely wife for the first time at the GOW.  It was very surprising that we had something in common.

  Neither she nor I looked forward to spending a week with Jack when he had only ONE SET of underwear!  I don't know, maybe it's just me, but a guy can get by with 2, maybe 3 days with the same set, BUT A WHOLE WEEK!!!  Ain't no way.  Thank goodness there was a K-Mart close by for Jack to remedy the situation.

  I still don't know what possessed Jack to tell me his situation, let alone saying that it was the SECOND time that's happened to him.  I told him I would keep his secret so make sure you don't tell anyone Jim.  I'd appreciate that.

  Good luck at your carving retreat.  If it gets cold and rainy, tell Jack that it helps to put more clothes on to stay warm instead of walking around in a t-shirt and a pair of bermudas.

    Hi Jim.

    Jack Miller here. 

     I just got home from the GOW in Illinois.  Had a great time but the weather was awful- it was cold, rainy, damp and just plain miserable but the program was great.

    Anyhow I'm getting ready for the retreat this weekend but I don't know how many students to prepare for.  Can you please let me know ASAP?  I need to know how many blanks to prepare and bring along.

    Also I have been working on the project for the class at your house in Florida.  I'll bring along what I have done so far for your perusal but also would like to know If you received the proposal I sent to you earlier.   Let me know what you think, Jim.
