Are talking about the Friendship cane program.
If so there's information about it here

It looks like the pictures of the individual segments are gone, there is a 
picture of the one of the canes with 16 segments.  Mine has 14 segments, two 
participants didn't send out their segments.

I am one of the lucky ones that has 7 (SEVEN)  walking canes full
Sixteen pieces in each plus my own top and bottum  and a sight for sore eyes
And they are great conversation pieces
