[Woodcarver] Facebook as marketing tool?

I use twitter more for carving related things, telling folks what I am up to, what I'm carving etc.? Its a place to make announcements. While it only allows 140 characters per blurb, it does encourage links.? You add tags to your site and people find you and follow you and what you have to say. I don't know 90% of the people following me. You can build up quite a following on it.? Though I do admit to not having much to say on it lately.? I use facebook as purely a social thing just like kicking back with my friends.? In order for people to get your facebook messages, permission must be sought out and allowed for each person.? I find it a more relaxed place and people seem quick to block business related spam and remove those people who's posts are cluttering up their page, just a place for me to keep up on whats going on with friends.? More of a place to post photos and have conversations in my humble opinion.

Friends in Carving: Please support our List - visit carverscompanion.com/List/Support.html to donate.?
?
Time for a topic change until we move onto the next phase pf the Virtual Carving Studio project, perhaps this evening.?
?
So is anyone using Facebook as a way to help market carvings or support carving generally? If so, how are you using Facebook for that purpose??
