Hey Sally and David,
You deserve all the kind comments!
Sorry, but we'll miss you at the Kalamazoo show. We have a commitment to a
show that we've done in Mt. Home, AR for years. THE Woodcraft Shop will be
represented by my shop guy Rick Frels and his lovely friend Vicky.
They've run second string for us on many different occasions and they do a
very good job at it. I want you Michiganders to treat them right and give
them a big welcome. Please! :o)

Wow and double wow! We are humbled to receive all of your most kind
comments. It is very much appreciated. But, it is we who must thank you
for the support all of you have offered in helping to preserve this Old
World folk art. It is something special for most ethic cultures. We are
only the messengers.
Larry and Miss Carol, we'll see you at the Kalamzoo, MI show May 1-2.
Casey, our books can be seen on our website. Our contact information is
there as well, if you would like to phone us first.
Best to all of you.

But seriously Sally and David, you two know how much I admire and appreciate
all your efforts to keep your two books your own and to do what you did your
way.
You could have compromised your principles and come up with a less
informative product by going to a big publisher. But sticking to your guns
and giving folks the necessary history behind fan carving is what makes your
books so special. In this age of "slam, bam, let's bang out a carving or
three", it's nice to be able to study the long and storied history of a
unique woodcarving artform.
We are very honored and proud to have been instrumental in getting your
labor of love out to the woodcarving community.
Looking forward to seeing you somewhere, sometime on the woodcarving
circuit.
