Good evening, Joe!
I like your suggestions #3. As a former art teacher that one is a great idea and will help future art teachers. Thanks!
Merrilee

Hi Terry, I'm not aware of any specific purpose of the club I belong to, other then just getting together to carve and have fun. Here are some goals that your club could have...... 1) Promote the art of woodcarving, as a fine art form 2) Promote the art of woodcarving through teaching its membership. 3) Promote education through providing scholarships to students with art majors. 4) Fundraising by donating carving to charities. 5) Provide an art class that satisfies the art credit for home school kids. 6) Provide a social atmosphere for it's members. 7) Provide an outlet for selling and the purchase of woodcarving through shows. 8) Organize a coop for sharing resources of machines, tools and supplies. 9) Submit membership names to local supplies for possible discounts. 10) To provide for a source of instructors and classes for the local park district or community college.
