[Woodcarver] lilac

Hi Bill-
I bought a spoon blank at a show and they kept them wet and frozen and told me
to keep it in the freezer. Unfortunately that was many years ago- and it is
still in the freezer. I believe it is supposed to carve better if kept wet. That
may not apply if power tolls are going to be used.

Some one has some Lilac 6"x8'. Is lilac good for carving or turning?

Thanks
Bill
