[Woodcarver] Check out these wild carvings

I could use some advice -which would be the better investment  scroll saw or jig saw ?
  I have a very limited work space I am trying to decide which to go with

Andy A scrolsaw will cost you more (Good one +_ $400.00) and takes in a fair space

A jigsaw can be bought VERY cheap ($20 ) good one $120.00
All depends how much you plan to use them 

DEWALT has a great scroll saw 
"Bush" has THE best jigsaw  IMHO
