Merrilee,

Congrats on being a grandma at such a young and tender age (top THAT
Dougey!).

.And congrats on your new teaching position working out better than you
expected. Did you learn to Google? It'll help you find the real name of
the "shoot-em-up-place" <BG>.

Luv ya Hat Lady.

Keep on Carvin'

Oh good Mike! I am sorry to hear about the problems with your job but it
looks good! This economy is hitting us all! Teaching
Computers/technology/typing isn't as bad as I worried about and I am
learning a lot my self. Hopefully others will be able to see the light at
the end of the tunnel also. It is a good thing to have something "carving"
in most of our cases to keep us connected and centered. Speaking of family
I am a new grandma! Had to share that! It is an exciting time. Best to
you all!
Merrilee

Mike,

Careful you two (Matt and Corey)! I'm sure some don't consider my being
quiet a bad thing <G>.

Anyway, I apologize for the lack of participation lately. For most of 2009
I was looking at the end of my project (at my day job) and eminent
unemployment, so I've been concentrating on other things. With the
exception of my older daughter's marriage, 2009 has not been a banner year
for the Bloomquist clan. The only good news we got with the New Year was
that my "drop dead" date was the end of April instead of mid Feb. and that
they (my company) had submitted my resume in for two different positions on
two other projects. The first position went to my supervisor and in a way
that was good news because he needed it worse, with six kids still at home.
The good news I got recently was that I got the other position and I don't
need to even change companies. I'm still working on more computer
certification to make myself more marketable (just in case), but the exam is
at the end of March, so there's an end in sight for that as well.

Soooo. you all should be hearing more from me. 2010 is looking up. I know
there are carvin' folk out there with worse situations. I Pray it starts
looking up for you as well.

Keep on Carvin'
