Hi, Ray. Sorry it took so long to respond.
Winnie and I are currently in the Cape Canaveral area and will be here for about a week and a half yet. I'm teaching a four day class at the Great Outdoors RV and Golf Resort in Titusville. We'll be staying at the Christmas RV Park in Titusville- we'll be moving there on Friday and staying there through the following weekend. I'll be teaching how to carve a decorative Western Sandpiper. Then we're moving to Bushnell, then Ocala, then Port Charlotte on the Gulf Coast. I've scheduled to teach classes at each of these areas. Finally I'm teaching at the Florida Woodcarvers Roundup in Zephry Hills March 24 through 27. Altogether there are 23 instructors scheduled to teach classes at the Roundup. After that program we will wend our way home to Pennsylvania. Anyone interested in the Roundup should contact Jim O'Dea at Jeodea at aol.com for information and/or reservations.
The weather while we have been in Florida has been truly terrible. We were looking for wam temps and we have just frozen. It's even too cold and windy to be outside and carve, let alone do any salt water fishing , which I was hoping.for. I bought a fishing license and have used it a total of about 3 hours--what a waste.
Oh well, I could still be in PA. Where I live there was almost 50 9nches of snow on the ground yesterday. And there is a threat for more later.
Anyhow that's what's up with me in Florida
The best to you, Ray.
Jack Miller
