[Woodcarver] John Burke News

I didn't know John very well or very long, but met him the first time about
a year ago. He was at the club and clowning around feeling very good.
P.J.Driscoll introduced me to him and John sat down and asked me what I was
working on ... took tools out of my box and said,... good and sharp. I had a
chunk of butternut I had just bought. He sat down and carved me an eye on
it. I sliced that eye off later that day and will always have that on my
bench. What he brought to the carving community is just incredible.
