[Woodcarver] question about outdoor varnish

Sounds like a winner to me!  I haven't heard anything bad about it but the cost.  But I could have bought a few gallons with the $$ spent on the stuff I have drying out on the shelf.  Besides being smart, Jan is big and has a pretty wife!
I'll have to get some for my next chainsaw carving.

Jan intoduced me to Sikkens at the GOW a couple of years ago at his chair carving class.  My chair after 3 years shows no adverse weathering.  I take it in during the winter but from spring to fall it sits outside.  I'm a firm believer.

Put it on my cedar siding 20 years ago and 8 year later give it an other coat and still has that golden glow on it
I might give it another coat this summer if I get bored but NOT necessarily
