> OTHER CLUB ACTIVITIES:

> Teaching: Club members are involved in teaching carving to a group

> of students who are being home schooled. This is our second year of

> teaching with this group. We are also helping some 4-H Youth learn

> to carve.

> Beginning Woodcarving Class is being provided by Lancaster County

> WoodCarvers on specific Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lancaster

> County Parks at their Environmental Center. This is for those 14

> years old and up ( those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.).

> We will teach safety, basic cuts, the importance of different types

> of cuts, types of wood, and sharpening. Everything needed will be

> provided. Kit will be available for purchase! The next class will

> be scheduled by the Lancaster County Parks. Registration is handled

> Woodcarving Seminars are held by various accomplished carvers for
