I think a contest where everything fits inside a small box would be fun to do. I do mini gnomes and bears already so I could add to the theme and come up with a full set of decorations to go with them.

Hi Matt,

A friend carves a complete christmas set that always fits inside the altoids mint tins, it includes tree, ornaments, presents ,etc any way that is just a thought.

Hello All -

It's been entirely too quiet on this List of late - where the heck is
everyone.

So I think it's about time for another WOM/List-sponsored carving
contest. The carpenter pencil contest we did a few years back was
lots of fun, and produced some interesting and clever carvings.

I'm open to suggestions - with just a few requirements - the first
being that carvings need to be small enough to easily mail in for
judging, and if you want 'em back you need to include prepaid postage.

One idea I've thought about is having a contest where the carving has
to fit within one of those metal Altoids mint boxes, or an Altoids
Chewing Gum box. Lots of interesting potential there, if you are
willing to think outside the box, so to speak.

Any other suggestions, ideas, etc?

Carve On!

Matt
