[Woodcarver] W3E Carving Arrived

Went to the PO box today to find a package from Marilyn Osterhouse,  
containing her carving for the 49th Secret Pal exchange. Marilyn has  
participated in 48 of the 49 Secret Pal exchanges, streching back 12  
years to 1998.  The first exchange carving I received from Marilyn was  
a very detailed chip carved egg, which has traveled with me to who  
knows how many carving demos.

This time around Marilyn sent a wooden box with a lovely chip carved  
lid, with three roses and a number of leaves. It is a great example of  
free form chip carving, upon which the lovely Catherine has already  
cast her eye!  (I may need to ask premission to take this carving with  
me to demos.)
