I have seen Jack carve these upside down. It is an interesting site watching
Jack carve with all the blood running to his brain ! You can tell he is from
Pennsylvania !

Steve, I received your basswood egg Snta the week before last, but have just
not had timne to acknowledge receipt of the delightful Santa figure.  I ,
too, carve basswood egg Santas, bit I carve them upside down from the way
you carved the one you sent me.  Thanks so much for the Santa.
