Hey Ray,
Good to see you're up and around. Nice job on that eagle project. You sure
haven't lost your touch.
Take care and I agree . this getting' old stuff is for the birds, not for us
humans!

Ray,
Welcome back! We missed ya. especially at Honesdale. Were your ears
burnin' around July? <G>
Haven't looked at the carving yet, but I will. as soon as I beat my software
into submission.

Hi Y'all, I've been absent awhile but getting better now. Had a triple
by-pass on 21 Jun and am on the mend. I started a new project in July, took
me a long time to pull the lumber and sort out what I needed and jointed it
up.I had admired this Eagle panel for several years and finally decided I
had to give it a shot. It is possibly a logo for one of the advertisers in
one of the Carving mags. I have no idea who did it or how big it is but I
was impressed enough to steal the design from the ad. I'm going to send a
pic to the Company when I find the address. Anyhow the carving is in
Butternut wood and I started carving on it about mid-August. We've been in
Florida since 18 Oct and between all the other thing going on I'm ready to
put the final finish on. I'm using wipe on Poly and need to rub it out and
put on a couple more coats. There's a few woodcarving shows around here
during the winter, maybe I'll try a couple.
Glad Ol' Don is hangin' in there, gotta keep the juices flowing, but for my
money, getting old Sucks! Big Time!! Golden Years my #&@!!
Here's a link to my new project ( check out my other stuff too if you like)
