[Ol' Don]

Living in the country, it was no surprise
When this feller showed up with hair o'er his eyes.
A mustache too and a long beard as well...
He was surely country, it was easy to tell.

Bib cover-alls with pockets just right
kept his hands dry and warm and hidden from sight
Atop of his head sat an old floppy hat
He was an Arkie hillbilly, no doubt about that.

Said he'd come from Yellville in Arkansas land
And wanted to join our old carver's band.
Well, he fit right in and he's here to stay
Thanks to carver Jantu who sent him our way.

Caricature pieces are fun to behold
And in this troubled world they can lighten the load
By bringing a smile and a chuckle or two
So one more time, my thanks, Jantu, to you!!
