[Woodcarver] Kewl & Unique Set of Gouges

Hi Mike,
I could not access the pictures.
They sound like pattern makers tools. The tools used by pattern makers
to be used to make the patterns for castings. Like iron or steel for
various things like engine blocks, suspension parts, etc.
Look at the number on the gouges. If they do not look right to you
it may be these. The number is the radius of the curve. A #1 is 1
inch, a #3 is 3 inch, a #8 is eight inch, etc.
If so, they must have good steel in them. They are professional
tools that where meant to be used every day in a factory. If they where
bad, they would have been discarded years ago.
