I have done the peeking mouse and Clown fish. I checked out your book a
while back and just put a hold on it since I got some neat driftwood I
would like to make some boxes out of.

Arthur- my book is in your public library? How cool is that! I have given
copies to a couple of my libraries, but I didn't know they were in any
other. Wow.
I was in issues #1,3, 5,7,9,11, every other issue for a while. Not as
considtent lately but about once a year. Most of the project you see on my
jewelry page on my web site have been subjects for articles, as well as
painting, the Clown Fish, and the Peeking Mouse.
Coming up will be the full-sized hummingbird as well as an article on
making your own boxes to decorate. Then, I think I've about run out of ideas.

Donna, sorry about you being missed, don't cry, tell me what articles you
did, I most likely carved one of them. There are so many good articles and
patterns in the magazine sometimes I can't decide what to do.
I got a request last night for Gnome earrings, going to pattern them after
the Santa earrings that were in one of the magazines a while back.
Arthur
PS: I did check out your bandsaw book from the library.

(sniff-sniff) Ok then- that make two people who have seen the articles- I
feel better now. LOL

Sorry Donna. I should have written “not a comprehensive list… by any
means”. Kinda hoped others would fill in the list. There’s also Laura Sue
Irish, Lori Corbett with books out (like yourself), and then there’s…

Arthur,
Lots of writers on The List. I’m a newbie for hardcopy in Carving
Magazine (this is my first). Ivan Whillock has probably been with it the longest,
and then Ol’ Don.
I’ve written a bit for Woodcarver’s Online Magazine, and if I don’t get a
couple articles out to him soon Matt’s gonna fire me. ;-)

I hadn't realized one of the members did the smiling Santa. It is on my
to do list along with a bunch of others.

Anyone catch my Santa article Carving Magazine? Was it that bad that
you're
politely not commenting on it? <G>
I "little bird" told me they were actually carving it at the Evart "Spit
and
Whittle" (might have been using it for kindling, but... hey).
