[Woodcarver] carving pattern

Ages ago I carved a football player that was just a helmet and legs. It was a 
toothpick holder, or at least that is what I turned mine into. Gave it to 
someone for tailgate picnics. I am pretty sure it was in Woodcarving Illustrated 
since Carving Magazine hadn't been invented yet.

Does anyone have a better memory than I? I don't want to go through 10 years of 
old magazines to find it. Thought it would be cute to do a bunch of these with 
all of the football craziness beginning this fall.

If you can tell me the issue of the magzine - I would love you forever.
