[Woodcarver] Honing compound?

Jan,  How do you get the stuff between your two ears out to use for compound?    
Some folks have sawdust in there...what is between your ears?

A chunk of compound ain’t gonna teach you to sharpen any better.  It’s what’s 
between your two ears that will make you sharpen better!  :o)
 
It’s mind over matter.  If you don’t mind, it don’t matter.  LOL!
