I have the witch segment you carved...and yes,  I did the pretty woman.   One with heart shaped sunglasses (cheat,  no eyes) and other artistic dodges....she was the equalizer for me....the only one where I could keep up with you guys.
Loren...thanks for the memories.....fun times.....
Don't do any exchanges any more...too bad...a good way to get to know folks.
Patti

As I recall, I thought you were a very good carver.  I don’t know if you were in one the pretty woman segment or not.  Try as I might, I could not carve a pretty woman then.  I ended up carving an old witch type woman.  To me, that was better than having a very ugly pretty woman.  LOL   Loren  From: woodcarver-bounces at carverscompanion.com [mailto:woodcarver-bounces at carverscompanion.com] On Behalf Of Patti Landmann

Subject: Re: [Woodcarver] What you all carving? I am doing something that has needed done for more that a few years.   Awhile back I started a Native American woman bust and then became overwhelmed by the scope of the project.   She was roughed out and then ignored for too long. Recently I decided I was never going to be talented and gifted so should just get working on her,  so have been working for the last few months on and off.   Recently have resolved to finish her,  so am working daily on it.   I am enjoying my effort and the results.   If it is the journey then it has become a good one...   If it is the finished product,  then I am also pleased....it is a win,   win.....so far,  my husband and I like her.Patti Landmann lowvillecarver at yahoo.com
