[Woodcarver] What are you carving

I'm still working on the Dragonfly harp- though last month it got very little of
my time. Next month will be busy as well, so I am working feverishly to complete
it before I leave here for Maquoketa. Yesterday I worked 6 hours, half spent
sanding the stand and gluing trim strips on the harp body, and half working on
the inlay on the neck. I have carved the ebony dragonfly body and completed
carving the holes for the wings inlay. I still have to figure out how to inlay
the ruby eyes and have them show above the wing level, and make the pink ivory
frame- also standing proud of the surface.
These are the things keeping me from falling asleep at night, but I'd rather
have these than 'real' problems.
The only other carving I've done is to carve another Peeking Mouse along with my
students last week. That was fun. This one is for our son- if you can imagine a
39 year old senior financial analyst begging for a carved mouse from his mother
for his office. Soon, everyone I know will have one. Whew.
