Hi y'all,

I need a little help from you. For years we've been making and selling our
measuring/marking gauge. Here it is:

http://www.thewoodcraftshop.com/store/p/1176-MEASURING-MARKING-GAUGE.html

It's been a good tool, but it was designed by an engineer who used to work
for me in our shop. Not to say anything bad about engineers, but it has way
too many pieces to it and takes a long time to cut and assemble them.

We've been to many, many shows over the years and I've seen a lot simpler
versions of a marking gauge that does the same thing. If any of you have a
sketch of such a gauge or can take a couple of pictures of one you've made
or own, I'd appreciate hearing from you. I want something that my shop guy
can turn out quickly so we can keep the costs down.

Thanks for whatever help you can give.

If you're around the Springfield, IL area this weekend, come out to the
Illinois State Fairgrounds. We'll be set up at the Sangamon County
Woodcarvers Show. It's being held in the Illinois Building which is located
right inside of Gate 1 on the south side of the fairgrounds on Sangamon Ave,
west of Peoria Road. For information on the show, click on

Hope to see you there.
