HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my woodcarver friends.  As has been the tradition for the last 15+ years, we will be opening the woodcarver chatroom.  If you'd like to stop in for a while, feel free.  It's an online party! :)  I will be late, but people usually stop in throughout the evening, so if nobody is there, just hang out for a while and someone is sure to drop in.
Whatever you do to usher in 2012, I wish you all a safe and wonderful evening and a Happy, Healthy New Year with lot of carving :)

The most reliable link to use TONIGHT is this one:

http://63.77.93.36/cgi-bin/irc.cgi

You'll see a "CGI:IRC Login " box. Where it says "nickname", highlight
the CGI:000 that is there and type in your nickname.
Leave the "Server" line as it is
For "Channel" type or copy #woodcarverchat you need the # and it has to
be spelled perfectly or you will end up in your own channel all by
yourself :(

When you get there, type something in the long, narrow horizontal space
at the bottom of the chat window. That way we'll know that you are there.
