Your whimsical house and dogwoods are awesome. Would we expect less from
our favorite back connection? J

I am just letting everyone know that I posted 3 photos (different view
angles) of a whimsical house carving that I recently completed in the "Bark
Carvings" album on my picturetrail site. I started this carve probably 2
years ago, beginning with the tree trunk on the left and a "ball" for the
tree house above that. Not really having any plan for what came next or
even how to develop what I started, the piece just sat around and gathered
dust for a couple of years before I finally got back to it late last year.
It has lots of neat elements and took lots of carving hours - too much for
me. If you want to check it out, the link to my site is:

Even though I did enjoy it, the amount of work involved reinforced my
preference for selling the bark for the whimsical houses rather than carving
them myself (same way I felt after doing my first one).

ALEX
