May the New Year be better than the last;

May we cherish the memory of those we've lost this last year, and value even more our friends, those met and those as yet unmet;

May our tools be sharp and cuts clean; may we find inspiration in the beauty and majesty of this world, but also in the small, day-to-day things;

May we share our love of the art with others, through our clubs, shows, publications, classes taught and classes taken, and the exchanges in which we participate;

May we continue sharing our carving journey with the nearly 900 members of this List.
