Hello
everyone! I shall wear the 900th
member badge with honor. Thank you so
much for the mug! I collect mugs from my
woodcarving adventures and I’ll use it with pride!
I
was raised with wood carvers, leather workers and artists of all varieties. I started my own journey with woodcarving about
7 years ago. I started with chip carving
and am now ready to try some other kinds of carving. I don’t have pictures of my items (I know it’s
unusual) but I simply carve for enjoyment and never thought of taking
pictures. I have been a member of a
couple of woodcarving clubs and hope to rejoin one or both of them this year. I have taken a couple of classes with Pam
Gresham but otherwise I am self-taught.
I’m
looking for assistance in locating accurate information or advice regarding the
types of carving. I don't want to invest a lot of money in tools only to find they will only work for one type of carving.
