[Woodcarver] WOM Update; Web Site Updates

Good Evening Carvers Everywhere -

This has been a maintenance evening for the Woodcarver List and the Carvers' Companion web site:

1)  A WOM reader was kind enough to point out a few broken links in the 2010 Congress galleries.  If you unsuccessfully tried to visit the photo galleries for The Classes, Judges' Comments or The Banquet,  those links are now repaired and the galleries work just fine.

2)  On the Carvers' Companion web site,  several visitors have reported that upon visiting the site, they are then automatically taken to the Fine Woodworking Web Ring.  This has happened to me on several occasions - it feels a bit like being hijacked.   I have for now removed the link and Java script for the web ring.  If you happen to experience that same problem, please let me know OFF LIST as soon as possible.

3)  In the List section of the Carvers' Companion home page,  I added a link to the Woodcarver List Facebook group.   If you haven't visited or joined yet,  please do so.
