[Woodcarver] rehydrating wood laminate

 Question

    I have a friend you has aquired an old sign (50 years) made wood veneer 
1/8 that has dried and curled. He came to me asking for help I thought of 
steaming it in a bag over several days Does anyone have any experince at a 
project like this
