[Woodcarver] Going to Congress

Hi Sue, Chris and everyone,

 

We were really excited to have Chau be one of our judges at the Congress
this year, but unfortunately that isn't going to happen.

 

He called last week and said he had some health issues that may prevent him
from coming.  After conferring with his doctor, she advised him not to
travel for the time being.  The issues are not critical, but serious enough
that he has to heed his doctor's advice.

 

The good news is that I was able to acquire the services of veteran judge
Neil Cox from Ontario, Canada.  With Peter Benson coming from England and
Neil from Canada, this will truly be the "International" Woodcarvers
Congress!

 Who all is going to be at the Congress this year. Chow Pham is going to be
a judge from Orlando for those of you that have not seen his work He is Good
and a nice guy. I am dropping off a couple of carvings and getting Leah
there to teach then heading to Michigan to teach at the Creative Carving
Seminar hosted by Floyd Rhaduigan. I will be back for the banquet in Iowa
