Maura
Are you looking at a 3-D project or one such as a relief? The 3'D piece can be moulded. The relief can be cut on a CNC router or machine. The moulding process can be done by yourself if the quantity isn't too much. The CNC process can be completed at most fabricating shops in your area by just making a few phone calls. These guys usually work with metal but the same machine and tools can work well on wood.
Something to think about

To all the carvers out there...where can one go to mass produce a small wooden product..or more than 1 design of a similar item..it is involved and would probably need a cnc router application....What type of industry are we looking for here....any ideas, any references
