[Woodcarver] Wooden nail polish caps

In my other life, I went to a technical high school for Machining...I
was going to be a tool and die guy (until I discovered computers) and I
have cut any number of threads over my career there. The best way to go
would be to incorporate the plastic caps. There are several potential
problems with wooden threads:
1) expansion of the wood - can be alleviated by making the threads
"loose", but that causes the material inside to leak out and then dry out
2) wood is fibrous, so the threads have to be coarse or they will easily
break...but same thing, the material inside would likely leak and dry out
3) adhesion with the material inside the bottles, they may get "stuck"
4) absorption of the liquid part of the material in the bottles, since
wood is porous.
Just a few thoughts...
If you make the cap in such a way as to utilize the original plastic
caps, you could do some very fancy carving or whatever on the top and
not worry about the threads...
Just thinking of reproducibility and efficiency and I hope this helps.
