Hi fellow carvers,

I'm back from vacation and making chips, putting the finishing touches on the Stations Of The Cross for delivery by the end of the month.

While on vacation I had a chance to do some sketching. If you're interested you may view them on my Webshots link below. It's the first album titled 'Puerto Vallarta 2012'. I learned a good lesson to test the paper in a new sketch book before packing it for a trip. Even though the paper was rated for pencil, charcoal, ink and light watercolor it made lousy drawing paper, not abrasive enough and didn't erase worth a darn. I used HB and 2B pencils. I'm going back to the Strathmore Sketch brand paper.
