Thanks Merrilee and all for your kind words about my Stations. Drawing is something that I've always done and studied in school. I have as much fun drawing as I do carving.
When a big project. like these Stations, are finished there is a lot of mixed emotions, among them is that I hate to see the project end. My shop seems to be empty except for the 6 signs I'm painting for our church's Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner.
That church was very pleased Stations. When I finished the altar and ambo for this new church their building fund was drained to zero. I suggested that they use these 14 Stations Of The Cross for fund raising. They are selling each Station, as a memorial to families, for $2,500 each, except for the last 4 which are $3,000 each. They are selling very well and when they are finished they will have about $30,000 back into their building fund. I think almost half are sold already.
