Today around noon the carving world and me personally lost a beloved
member.  Mr Cosimo (Nick) Schiortino of York, Pennsylvania passed away. 
He was president of the York Carvers and an instructor of chip carving
techniques at many local clubs and at the Northeast Woodcarvers Roundup
since its inception.  
Nick will be missed by many as will his wonderful sense of humor and his
seemingly inexhaustible supply of jokes and funny stories.
I will miss him as will his legion of friends.
