[Woodcarver] Jo Craemer: painting an Eastern Bluebird info needed

Hi Lori,

 

Unfortunately, Lucio's book is out of print.  It was part of a "Workbench
Projects" series of books Stackpole published.  There are a lot of the
others that are out of print also.  Don't know why because I thought they
were great books.  Probably a lack of sales shut them down.  We used to do
OK with them.

Thank you, Richard, for the kind words! I don't cover the Eastern Bluebird,
but the Mountain Bluebird. Donna's blog mentioned earlier has an awesome
tutorial for the E.B. Laura Lucio wrote a few years ago a book on carving
and painting the E.B. I'm not sure it's in print any longer, but it's
published by Stackpole.

Good Evening All-

One of our WOM readings is trying to contact Jo Craemer, who wrote an
article about bird painting back in Vol 1 Issue 2.  Does anyone have a more
current email address for her?

The reader is painting an Eastern Bluebird and "cannot find a reference to
the proper color mix to create the wonderful blue and the rust".

If anyone can point our reader to a source for that information, please let
me know or respond on list.
