Good question, Joe.
I just returned home from Evart this morning.  Now Winnie and I are
beginning to get ourselves together for two excellent seminars in July. 
The first is in Honesdale, PA and is called the Northeast Woodcarvers
Roundup.  Nearly twenty-five instructor will provide FREE instruction in
all facets of carving at this program.  It will be held at Cherry Ridge
Campground from July 15 -19 inclusive.  Information is available on the
Web about this program.  The following week the second Buckeye Roundup
will be held at Fetcher Farms Campground near Dayton, Ohio. This FREE
program runs from July 25 through 28.The only cost for instruction for
each of these programs is the price of a blank and any tools or materials
needed.  Information is likewise available on the Net about this program.
 Finally in October, over the Presidents Day Weekend The Mystic CN
carvers will present the Woodcarvers Rendezvous at the Alton B Jones
Environmental Center in West Greenwich, RI.  This is a unique program
because the carvers fee covers the cost of instruction, housing for the
weekend, and great meals for the entire weekend.
I heartily encourage any and all carvers or wannabe carvers to take
advantage of these programs.
I truly hope to see some of the list members attend one or more of these
events.
